Charming 1860’s-era cottage with a touch of modern, now available for short-term stays.
This cottage was originally an ice cream shop back when there was a trolley running up and down Kittery Point’s Pepperrell Road. It transitioned to a local fisherman’s market and eventually became a small family home. Now, it is a unique guest cottage and a place for friends and family to stay and visit.
Please note: the cozy cottage has small rooms and low ceilings—tall and large humans may not appreciate this feature!
It is walking distance to Pepperrell Cove and the town pier, with sweeping views of the harbor. It is also centrally located to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Please contact Alicen for more information.

About the Cottage
Kitchen
Clean and simple with mid-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, single burner induction cooktop, Keurig and pour-over coffee makers, electric water kettle, essential condiments and seasonings. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, utensils wine and cocktail glasses, coffee cups, etc.
Bathroom
There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. It is very small but has everything you need. We created a vanity area just outside of the bathroom for hair and makeup. Plenty of fresh towels along with essentials such as soap, shampoo, and lotion. A hair dryer is available.
Bedroom
This cottage comfortably accommodates 1-3 people. A dedicated bedroom with a full-size bed, quality linens, closet and shelves, and a twin-size daybed on the back porch.
Wi-Fi and Streaming TV
TV is set up with a Roku that includes Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Peacock for broadcast shows. Wi-Fi is good throughout the cottage.
Parking
Just outside the door is space for two cars… not a lot of space but can definitely squeeze two in.
Pets
Sorry to say, but we cannot accommodate pets.
Check-in & Check-out
Arrivals and departures can be at your leisure and just let me know what your plans are and we will coordinate. Suggested check-in is after 2:00pm and check-out before noon. It really depends on the calendar. I live next door and can be available whenever needed.
Rates & Payment
Cancellations
Once you have reserved a time in the calendar I ask that you kindly let me know of any change of plans 48 hours before you arrive. Any no shows will be banned for life. Seriously.
House Rules
We live in a tight little neighborhood and ask that you be mindful of the neighbors as you come and go from the cottage. No parties or gatherings, and smoking outdoors only, please. There will be a sheet of instructions for Wi-Fi, TV, etc.
